Yes, but you need to follow these directions.

1. Download and install Audacity, the free sound recording/editing tool here. Look carefully for the download link… it’s just a text link in the first bullet point on the page.
2. Using audacity, open the MP3 file you want to import.
3. Once your file is open, click file > Export as WAV. Save the file in your samples folder, or anywhere on your computer.
4. In Beat Machine Pro, drag the Audio File Processor instrument onto the beat or song editor. This will create a new track.
5. Click on your new track, and the AudioFileProcessor instrument will appear. Click the little folder icon and select the .wav sample that you created in step 3.
6. You’re done. Your MP3 sample is now a track in Beat Machine Pro!
